Instead of a one size fits all price list, we price each job on the factors that actually affect the work. Here is what our ISA certified arborists look at during your free estimate.
Location
Where the tree sits matters as much as the tree itself. A tree in an open backyard with clear access for our trucks is simpler to work on than one leaning over your roof, growing near power lines, or tucked behind a fence with no gate wide enough for equipment. Slopes, soft ground, and nearby structures all call for more planning and more careful rigging. Travel distance plays a small role too, though we serve Culpeper and much of Northern Virginia every week.
Equipment Used
Some jobs need little more than climbing gear, ropes, and chainsaws. Others call for a bucket truck, a crane, a stump grinder, or a forestry mulcher. The right equipment makes the work safer and faster, and it protects your lawn, driveway, and landscaping from damage. We match the equipment to the job so you never pay for machinery your project does not need.
Laborers Required
A small trim might take two experienced climbers. A large removal near a home may need a full crew working ground lines, running the chipper, and keeping the work zone safe. Crew size depends on the size of the tree, the complexity of the job, and the safety precautions it requires. Our skilled and courteous crews work efficiently so the time spent on your property stays reasonable.
Removable Material
Once the cutting is done, everything has to go somewhere. Branches, logs, leaves, and stump grindings add up quickly, and hauling and disposal are part of every quote. The more material a job produces, the more time, trailer space, and disposal it takes.
